Deputy Santisteven and K-9 Partner Lex

Deputy Santistevan and K-9 partner "Lex" are assigned to the Moreno Valley Station. Deputy Santistevan has been with the Sheriff's Department since 2004. Deputy Santistevan and Lex were paired up in January 2009. Lex is a 7 year old, 85 pound Dutch Shepherd from Holland, who is cross trained for Patrol, Evidence and Narcotics. Lex has been serving the Sheriff's Department for about 3 years. Lex has had several apprehensions and several narcotics finds since being teamed up with Deputy Santistevan.
