Deputy Cranfill and K-9 Partner Tessa

I started my career with the Sheriff’s Department in 2004 and am currently assigned to the Lake Elsinore Station. I joined the K9 team in January 2009 and was paired with my partner, Police Service Dog “Abel.”  

Abel is a 3 year old, 76 pound Belgian Malinois, who is crossed trained in patrol, evidence, and narcotics. We look forward to serving the communities of Lake Elsinore (City and County) and Wildomar during the years to come, and competing in upcoming K9 trials.
