Deputy Hurd and K-9 Partner Baron

Deputy Jeff Hurd has been a K-9 handler for 6 years.  His first K-9 "Scott" was retired in March 2010.  His new K-9 partner, "Baron", graduated the basic K-9 academy at Adlerhorst in April 2010.  Deputy Hurd and Baron patrol the unincorporated areas of Hemet and the City of San Jacinto.  Baron is a German Shepherd and his commands are given in the Czech language.  Baron is trained in patrol work, evidence search and narcotics.
