Deputy Monges and K-9 Partner Raki

Deputy Monges and K-9 partner "Raki" are assigned to the Indio Station. Deputy Monges has been with the Sheriff's Department since 2004. Deputy Monges and Raki were paired up in November of 2009. Raki is a 6 year old, 65 pound Belgian Malinois from Holland, who is cross trained for Patrol, Evidence and Narcotics. Raki has been serving the Sheriff's Department for about 5 years. Raki has had several apprehensions and several narcotics finds since being teamed up with Deputy Monges.
